SCHILLING HD – 5 DAY

Build your team’s technical expertise and operational understanding of the Schilling HD system with DRIFT Offshore’s comprehensive 5-day training program.

This course is designed for experienced ROV personnel within your organisation who have a minimum of one year of work-class ROV experience, have completed the 101 and 102 courses and/or have a general understanding of networking, fibre optics, electricity, electronics, and hydraulics.

Delivered from a practical, hands-on perspective, the course equips technicians with the essential knowledge and skills needed to maintain and operate Schilling HD ROV systems effectively. Training is delivered through a combination of theory, open forum discussions, practical exercises, daily quizzes, homework, and a final exam, and covers approximately 40 hours of material.

Upon completion, participants will have a strong understanding of electrical and fibre optic long lines, software control, test software, survey gear installation, and hydraulic tooling. They will also learn how to split the system using the provided tools, accelerate troubleshooting, and minimise operational downtime.

Where available, simulator time can be incorporated to further enhance learning and reinforce practical system knowledge.
