This course has been designed for an individual with at least two years of Schilling ROV experience and has a strong understanding of the following – Networking, Fiber optics, Electricity, Electronics and Hydraulics.
This course has been designed for an individual with at least one year of work class ROV experience, has completed the 101 and 102 courses and / or has a general understanding of Networking, Fiber optics, Electricity, Electronics and Hydraulics.
The course is delivered from a practical perspective and teaches Technicians the key elements to allow them to work on Schilling HD ROV systems. Broken down into theory, practical, open forum discussions, daily quizzes, homework and a final exam. Approx. 40 hours of material will be covered.
On completion the Technician will have a strong understanding of the Electrical long line, Networking / Fiber optic long line, Software control, Test software, installing Survey gear & Hydraulic Tooling. The course teaches the Technicians how to split the system using the tools provided, speed up trouble shooting and reduce operational down time.
If a Simulator is available, time will be made for attendees who want to further improve their knowledge.
