The 5,000sq ft base will address a critical shortage of subsea equipment repair services in the US market and help customers sustain high operational performance.
Drawing on DRIFT Offshore’s many years of subsea experience and offering bespoke repair packages, the facility in South Florida will host advanced engineering solutions across its service range when it opens in 2025.
It will feature electronics and hydraulic workshops as well as a mechanical assembly capability and manipulator repair services for the Schilling product line.

“There’s a recognised shortage of qualified repair facilities and skilled technicians, which can materially impact the availability and efficiency of subsea equipment. We’re excited to be deploying our three decades of ROV experience – particularly in the Schilling and Perry product lines – to create a new, solution-oriented support resource.”
The service offering at the facility will extend beyond routine equipment and tooling repairs to encompass full system rebuilds, computer and control systems upgrades, engineered solutions and technical support. The base will also provide equipment storage space.
